I ordered a few more items from Elf a while back and tried the products out and wanted to do another video to show you what I purchased and what I thought about them.
I found many things I liked and things that weren't quite up to expectations. If you want the full video here it is!
Moms, have there been times when you tell your kids you were going to take them out to the playground and they get all excited and rush you like crazy? Well I filmed a "Get ready with me" video to show you I did it with all their rushing and nagging today!
I did a look today using mostly Elf products which is really affordable, simple and quick for a day out with the kids. I went for more of a neutral/natural look so if you want to see what I did, here is the video for it!
If you want more information on the specific products I used, and you think it might help in the blog posts please let me know and I will be happy to start doing that!
Today I wanted to show you the items I purchased from Elf recently, this time my package actually shipped and arrived much faster! I was super excited and wanted to open the products and try them out before I did my haul to give you some of my thoughts on the products.
I did a look with majority of the new Elf items as well.
I did a review and demo on the Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzing cream in the color St. Lucia today! Here is a swatch of it on my hand.
I definitely enjoyed the color payoff of this product as well as the creaminess and blendibility! I used my fingers to blend the product on my face as well as a blending blush brush to see if it made a difference on the video.
It's sold for $3 on the Elf website here under their Studio line. Please don't forget to sign up for their newsletters! They offer great coupon codes like the one I received today which is the 50% off Studio line makeup, making this blush and bronzing compact only $1.50! And free shipping when you spend $35! Can't beat that!
This is my review on the Elf HD Blush in color Superstar! I wanted to show some swatches of the blush colour and mention some brushes I used to apply and blend the colour on my face. This is how it looked like on my hand:
It's sticky and tacky to the touch and pretty thick, I have never used a blush like this before and is different to a cream blush as well.
I used the Elf small stipple brush to apply the color on my face, then I used the Coastal Scents fluffy face brush to blend everything out to make the blush look natural.
It is a very bright pink color, honestly I thought I would look like a clown after applying this blush! But I worked at it and used my favourite Coastal Scents brush to blend and blend and it actually gave a nice result!
Here is my review video for those interested to see this product in a live demo:
I recently received a package from Elf and one of the products I was most excited to try was the Elf Studio Flawless Finish Foundation in the color Sand. As some of you might know, I only had 1 tinted moisturizer in my current collection and it just doesn't give me the coverage and longevity I wanted.
I tried this product on and this is how it looked on my arm.
It shows up darker/pinker on my skin but on my face it looked good. It is tacky to the touch so you can either leave it just as is or you can mattify it with powder.
I currently love this product and for $6 online at www.eyeslipsface.com I think it's a great foundation to start with.
